The Test of Confidence.

The engineers who built the bridges in Roman times were told to stand underneath the bridge during opening ceremonies. I am sure it did test the confidence of the engineers in their own work. I was at a theme park a couple of years ago and the roller coaster we were about to ride had developed a problem. The management stopped the ride and worked the problem and then promptly sent one of their own people test the ride.

Confidence in your work is important because the more you can prove to people that your work is legitimate and that it works the more incentives they will see to use your services. It is kind of seducing. Will you stand underneath your own bridge you built?
